Roles on the Committee of Management

President

Responsible for managing the Kindergarten;
Coordinates CoM activities;
Chairs CoM meetings; presents AGM report; represents Kindergarten externally;
Engages regularly with the Service Leader.

Vice President

Supports/stands in for President as required;
Ensures strategic direction is reflected in Quality Improvement Plan (QIP);
Manages key projects; inputs to workload as required.

Secretary

Coordinates the Agenda for all CoM meetings;
Documents and distributes minutes of CoM meetings;
Acts as Public Officer, lodging official documentation as required.

Treasurer

Ensures strong financial management of the Kindergarten;
Oversees monthly financial reports for CoM;
Manages and develops annual budget and financial statements;
Liaises with Service Leader and Finance Officer.

General Member

Supports executive committee with a range of tasks as needed including: 

Works with admin staff to organise Fundraising initiatives; 

Coordinates family and community events as required; 

Identifies opportunities for grants available; 

Review policies and provide feedback to Service Leader as required; 

Writes and manages grant submissions; completes acquittals to fulfil grant requirements; 

Contribute to the service’s Reconciliation Action Plan.
